Information Policy Disclosure Team within the Analytics Office of Ministry of Children & Family Development involves prioritizing the receipt of record requests from other ministries, preparing these records, and disclosing them to various clients.

**The Role**
The Information Product Technician provides reproduction (scanning) services or generate reports in Integrated Case Management (ICM) in response to Freedom of Information Requests (FOI) and information requests from public bodies (Law Enforcement) and/or Government Agencies governed by statutory or legislated power (Representative for Children and Youth, BC Coroner, Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee, Adoption Services, Civil Litigation, etc.) with competing legislated timelines, as well as general scanning and administrative support for the branch.

**Qualifications**:
**Education and Experience Requirements**
- Secondary school graduation or equivalent.

Provisos:

- Must be able to lift heavy boxes (up to 50lbs).
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time at the work station, therefore, frequent stretching and attention to ergonomic health is a high priority.
- Must be able to handle old, dusty and often disturbing, highly confidential and sensitive materials.

**About this Position**:
This is a temporary opportunity until June 13, 2025, with the possibility of extension and/or the position becoming permanent.
This position has full time on-site requirements.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
A Criminal Record Check (CRC) will be required.
