Nisku Industrial Office Looking to Hire
Full-time / Part-time - Permanent
Position Available: Immediate start upon completion of interviews
Garneau Industries is a custom fabrication shop with separate offices looking to hire an Office Administrator / Bookkeeper. The office is casual but presentable in nature. We require a self-motivated individual who is customer service oriented and capable of working under mínimal supervision. Must be well organized, punctual and reliable. Accounting experience a must with a good knowledge of QuickBooks Accounting system.
**Responsibilities**:
- Data entry and invoicing using QuickBooks
- Set up Project Files and add all relevant paperwork necessary for completion and invoicing. Follow up to ensure payment is received and entered before closing and filing Project report.
- Receivables using QuickBooks
- Payables using QuickBooks and CIBC SmartBanking
- Payroll Bi-Weekly using QuickBooks; hours generated by Shop Supervisor.
- Setting up new Employees on payroll with banking information for direct deposit.
- Ensure all Company credit cards paid on schedule.
- Open Outlook mail daily and distribute
- Direct any clients to required staff areas
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and Outlook
- If needed, co-ordinate with our Accountant off site who will take care of Month Ends/Bank Reconciliation.
- Organize office and manage office supplies as needed.
Salary will be commensurate based on experience and skills
The office and shop are located in the country just west of Nisku so reliable transportation is required as no public transportation is available.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.00-$29.00 per hour
