Administrative and Bookkeeping Assistant

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for finance and organization? Continental Stress is seeking an Administrative and Bookkeeping Assistant to join our team in Edmonton. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our office operations.
**Responsibilities**:
- Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification, coding, and payment processing.
- Manage accounts receivable functions, including generating invoices, posting payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
- Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Conduct data entry tasks and maintain organized filing systems for financial documents.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and deadlines, while also being able to work independently when necessary.
- Utilize Microsoft Office and Sage 300 software to prepare financial reports and reconcile accounts.
**Requirements**:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English (both written and oral).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Proven experience as a receptionist, bookkeeper and payroll are considered an asset.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
