Rate: $22 per hour

**Job Description**:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Bookkeeper/Office Manager to join our team. This hybrid role combines the responsibilities of bookkeeping and office management, ensuring smooth and efficient operations in our office. This role is expected to be in office 4 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping:
- Handle all accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements
- Reconcile bank statements and perform account reconciliations
- Process GST and other tax returns
- Manage daily financial transactions and maintain accurate records
- Call collection of overdue payments
- Send all invoicing
- Office Management:
- Schedule and dispatch work as needed
- Order parts and other services for the business as needed
- Manage purchase orders for the business and our clients
- Organize and maintain office files and documentation
- Assist with scheduling and administrative tasks as needed
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external inquiries
- Provide other administrative support as needed for the General Manager
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or office manager
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma or equivalent (College degree in Accounting or related field preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with construction industry accounting practices is a plus
