**The Opportunity (Toronto, ON - Hybrid)**
We’re looking for a Director of Strategic Partnerships to join our dynamic team, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our business. As an integral member of our Partnerships team, you will work in conjunction with the executive leadership team to take ownership of our most strategic partnerships, including our collaboration with Amazon. Your mission? To drive substantial revenue growth by forging and nurturing key relationships that will define the future of our company.
**Your Impact**:
- **Partnership Strategy and Prospecting**: Lead the development of a comprehensive partnership strategy alongside the executive leadership team. Identify and prospect potential partners, evaluating their suitability for strategic collaboration. Continuously assess market trends and industry landscapes to uncover new partnership opportunities.
- ** Ongoing Partnership Management**:Build and maintain strong relationships with existing partners, ensuring their ongoing success. Provide exceptional deal support and negotiation expertise for both new and existing partners. Foster cross-functional collaboration to deliver value and exceed partnership expectations.
- ** Program Development and Reporting**:Work closely with senior leadership to conceptualize and develop innovative partnership programs. Craft compelling program proposals, reports, and presentations to communicate value and impact. Develop metrics and milestones to measure partnership effectiveness, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- ** Business Planning and Execution**: Collaborate with partners to create strategic business plans that drive user growth and revenue. Lead complex negotiations with strategic partners and customers to secure mutually beneficial agreements. Develop and execute strategies that maximize the value of partnerships, both short-term and long-term.
- ** Market Insights and Analysis**: Utilize analytical insights to optimize partnership performance and unlock growth opportunities. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor actions, and market dynamics. Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to drive partnership success.
**Your Qualifications**:
- **Proven Experience**: You have over 5+ years of experience in managing strategic partnerships that drove revenue growth, ideally in the B2B saas industry, ideally in a fast-paced scale-up environment. Bonus points for experience in the Amazon/ecommerce marketplace industry within the ads or vendor management space.
- ** Stakeholder Management**: You excel at building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring everyone is kept informed and engaged. You can work with anyone and you can quickly and effectively assess what is important to any given stakeholder, and how to influence across reporting lines to ensure everyone is working in parallel to achieve the outcomes needed for the business.
- ** Adaptability**: You thrive in unstructured environments and can quickly adapt to changes. You're comfortable introducing structure where needed and can navigate the complexity of a startup with ease. You don’t cling to process for the sake of process - you understand that process is a tool to be used alongside many others to be maximally effective.
- ** Strategic Thinker**:You have a knack for seeing the bigger picture and understand how individual components interact to form a whole. At the same time, you can also foresee the downstream impacts of decisions made today and you use these to inform your approach on partnership opportunities. You understand when it’s the right time to build fast and scrappy, or slow to scale, and how to balance these things to meet both short
- and long-term objectives.
- ** Communication**: You possess exemplary communication skills, with the ability to articulate partnership objectives, goals and expectations. You are equally eloquent and comfortable communicating in writing, in person, and when speaking to large groups. You can always lead a discussion to an outcome, no matter how many people and different opinions are in the room.
