Job Description

As a key member of the Ontario Trillium Foundation's (OTF) leadership team, the Director, Partnership Investments will play a pivotal role in advancing the organization's mission to build healthy and vibrant communities across Ontario.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in business development, partnership building, and stakeholder relations. With a strong background in corporate, non-profit, or government sectors, they will be able to leverage their expertise to drive the growth of OTF's Partnership Investments program.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement the investment and granting framework for the Partnership Investments program, ensuring alignment with OTF's strategy and mission.
  2. Develop and oversee the execution of an annual and multi-year program plan, driving the success of the program against OTF's Business Plan priorities.
  3. Provide strategic thinking and leadership to the team, from exploring potential projects and partners to grant closures.
  4. Offer strategic advice to the Vice-President of Granting on partnership issues, opportunities, and the Partnership Investments framework, as well as resource management.
  5. Champion the Partnership Investments program with relevant stakeholders, building and maintaining relationships across Ontario.
  6. Research and implement effective methods for building strategic partnerships to drive program success.
  7. Direct the development of a pipeline of opportunities relevant to meeting the program's objectives.
  8. Lead the development, implementation, and documentation of OTF's partnership and development processes, ensuring fairness, transparency, and accountability.
  9. Monitor program performance, implement measurement goals, and lead quarterly and annual program reporting.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in a director-level role, with a proven track record in business development and partnership building.
  • Proven experience leading a high-performing team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work positively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise tact, and discretion, with a high degree of comfort with technology and digital platforms.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
