Job Description

Estimated Salary: $75,000 - $85,000

We seek an experienced Philanthropy Director, Strategic Partnerships to join our Philanthropy team at Rogers Communications, located in Toronto, Ontario. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic partnerships to drive philanthropic growth and engagement with our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead a portfolio of Major Gift donors through all stages of the donor cycle, resulting in significant revenue growth.
  • Cultivate and steward relationships with donors, ensuring they feel valued and engaged in our mission.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new partnership opportunities, expanding our reach and impact.
  • Design and implement effective strategies to engage and retain existing donors, driving long-term relationships and philanthropic support.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on donor interactions, tracking progress and evaluating success.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in fundraising, preferably in Major Gifts and Planned Giving.
  • Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining strong relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of closing gifts at the $100k+ level, with a keen understanding of tax laws and regulations governing charitable giving.
  • Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive plans to achieve philanthropic goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent our organization professionally and effectively.
