Administrative Assistant/bookkeeper/t1 Preparer

We are a small accounting firm seeking assistant for a multifaceted administrative assistant, bookkeeper and personal tax preparer to join our team.
Our firm
- Specializes in working with owners and professionals of private corporations to help build their wealth and minimize their taxes
- Our clients are in a wide range of industries including medical professionals, information technology, construction, Engineering firms, retail, Real estate Agents, Real Estate and mortgage brokerage
- We provide compilation engagements (i.e. Notice to Readers). We do not do reviews or audits
- Tax services range from preparation of corporate and personal tax returns, corporate reorganizations, Estate and Trust returns
**Responsibilities**:
Administrative Duties include:
- Administrative tasks such as greeting clients and stocking office supplies
- Packaging year-end and personal tax packages
- Scanning in client documents
- Following up with clients for missing information
- Updating workflow schedules
- Additional duties as required
Bookkeeping & Personal Tax duties:
- Include full cycle bookkeeping using QuickBooks Desktop and Online, or excel synoptics
- Ensuring accounts are reconciled and all required information is received
- Personal tax preparation
- Able to identify missing information
- Communicate with clients in a friendly and clear manner
Education and Work Experience
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Desktop
- Proficiency with Microsoft office products
- Minimum of 2 years in public practice environment
- Minimum of 1 year bookkeeping experience
- Minimum of 1 year personal tax preparation experience

Pay: $16.54-$25.28 per hour
Expected hours: 37.50 per week
