Description and Requirements

Are you passionate about High Performance Computing? Do you want to help solve humanity’s greatest challenges? Come join the Lenovo North America HPC & AI Sales team. Lenovo is looking for a highly skilled seller specialized in High Performance Computing.

  1. Develop a long-term sales pipeline and search out new business opportunities.
  2. Provide expertise in commercial segment markets around HPC.
  3. Establish and maintain professional, consultative relationships with clients, including C-level executives for mid-to-large accounts by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the client within their industry.
  4. Identify, qualify, develop and close HPC industry sales against quota.
  5. Develop a sales plan & strategy. Identify emerging industry markets.
  6. Ensure the timely and successful post-sales delivery of HPC solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  7. Travel to customer sites to present HPC solutions and services in a professional manner and maintain account integrity.
  8. Present HPC solutions in a professional manner to customers in-person, via email, and by phone.
  9. Set direction and communication for both project team and business partners and actively participate in cross-functional groups to solve problems.

Basic Requirements:

  1. Bachelor of Science or higher in a technical field or equivalent experience in Engineering, Business or Information Technology is required.
  2. Minimum 7+ years of experience selling high tech, big-ticket products or solutions with at least 5 years sales experience specifically in the HPC industry.
    1. Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
    2. Knowledge of HPC architecture including GPU/CPU computing, HPC clusters and software is preferred.
    3. Strong familiarity with the HPC commercial industry and HPC customers.
