Unlocking Profitability in Complex Deals

Leverage your expertise to drive revenue growth and margin expansion as a Director of Category, Strategic Deal Management at Lenovo. This role requires close collaboration with International Sales Organization (ISO), Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG), and Global Supply Chain (GSC) to maximize profitability of complex deals.

About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Commercial Lead to analyze pricing data, produce insights, and provide price recommendations to guide sales on cross/upsell and cost-saving opportunities. You will work closely with various ISG functions to improve profitability of sales opportunities, including configurations, component optimization, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze pricing data to identify opportunities for profit improvement via improving revenue or cost positioning through modelling and analysis of customer accounts.
  • Determine and guide on the profitability of significant or complex ISG deals, advising sales/senior leadership on the impact to revenue and margin objectives if they were to proceed.
  • Provide regular updates to management on results of business improvement plans, including profit opportunities and strategies to provide further value for customers.
Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to apply a commercial lens to financial and pricing models.
  • Highly developed Excel skills and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to build rapport and work with teams locally and overseas with conflicting priorities.
