You as a Field Coordinator will:

  • Work alongside the Project Manager and Superintendent in project planning, inspections, layout, and other field work;
  • Work alongside and regularly communicate with Owners, Contract administrators, Sub-contractors and Engineers;
  • Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision. Provide field support and supervise subcontractor operations.
  • Assist in the maintenance of basic project recordkeeping and correspondence functions including daily reports, photographs, requests for information (RFIs), and memorandums
  • Perform material takeoffs from drawings, specifications and other contract documents
  • Review, interpret and update construction schedules and projections, and perform quantity calculations by taking measurements and determining percentage of completed/installed materials and work
  • Conduct quality control activities, inspection programs and updating of construction progress records.

Is this the right role for you?

  • You have an undergraduate degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related.
  • You have 1+ years of construction field experience.
  • You can communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment.
  • You are able to perform work safely and effectively, and understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
  • You have strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • You are a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and are willing to do what it takes to get the job done right.
  • You are highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative.
  • Experience working on structural infrastructure projections preferred.
