Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Practicum Coordinator to support graduate students in their practicum placements as part of our Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) program. This role is essential in facilitating student success and enhancing their practical learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Student Support: Monitor and assist students throughout their practicum placements, providing necessary guidance and hosting virtual office hours.
  • Liaison Duties: Collaborate with faculty and site supervisors to ensure effective communication and support for practicum students.
  • Administrative Support: Maintain relevant documentation, identify process gaps, and contribute to the development of new forms and efficiencies.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field is required.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build relationships and navigate diverse student needs with cultural sensitivity.
  • Technical Proficiency: Competence in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and data management systems.
