About the Role:

As a key member of the EllisDon Civil division, you will play a vital role in overseeing and coordinating various infrastructure projects. Your expertise will contribute to our legacy of excellence in heavy civil construction, which has been our hallmark since 1904.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and Superintendent in planning, inspections, layout, and other essential field operations.
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders including owners, contract administrators, contractors, and engineers to ensure project alignment.
  • Prepare and issue designs for temporary access and structures, and provide approvals for Quality Verification Inspections (QVE).
  • Review and update construction schedules and projections, ensuring accurate and current shop drawings, and manage Requests for Information (RFIs) and notices of change.
  • Conduct quality control assessments, site layout planning, inspection programs, and keep detailed records of construction progress.

Is This Position Right for You?

  • You possess 1-3 years of experience in infrastructure, specifically in bridge, road, or culvert projects.
  • You are familiar with scheduling and project management software.
  • You thrive in a team environment, working collaboratively towards the successful completion of projects.
  • You are comfortable operating in remote locations across Ontario.
