Horizon Health Network (Horizon) is seeking a strategic, innovative, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Team Lead. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality assurance, standardization, and best practices relative to environmental cleaning and disinfection practices in a healthcare environment.

Who you are

Reporting to the Regional Director of Environmental Services and Portering, the Team Lead will:

You have worked in a healthcare-related industry, supervising a team for a minimum of 3 years.

* Ideally candidate would have a university degree in a healthcare related. A combination of education and experience may be considered.

You have experience in training and implementation of best practice relative to Environmental Services standards

Written and spoken competence in English is required at an advanced level.

What you will do

Quality monitoring, visual auditing, and ATP testing where required

Coordinate, on a regional level, the purchase of new equipment and technologies to support the daily operational workflow of the Environmental Services and Portering Teams.

*Develop and implement policies and procedures based on evidence-based best practice

*Assist in the development and implementation of a regionalized training program for new hires

*Participate in the RFP process and liaise with various stakeholders where applicable.

*Other duties as required.
