Position: Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator
As an Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator, your primary duty will be to foster a culture centered around safety within a manufacturing or field environment. Your efforts will focus on ensuring safe operations and maintaining compliance with established standards through effective safety training and quality assurance. Your achievements will be reflected in your capability to design and oversee Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Programs that align with corporate policies and regulatory requirements. This role may necessitate occasional travel.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the EHS Manager to develop and execute EHS programs that comply with applicable regulations.
- Design training materials to facilitate understanding and adherence to EHS standards.
- Evaluate safety performance, formulate improvement strategies, and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Lead responses to accidents and incidents, analyze causes, and implement corrective measures.
- Identify potential hazards, offer recommendations, and supervise the execution of action plans.
- Conduct EHS audits, risk assessments, and inspections to uphold compliance.
- Coordinate EHS projects, monitor performance metrics, and engage with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Share best practices and insights with EHS teams and the broader organization.

Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in EHS, ideally within the petroleum and transportation sectors.
- Post-secondary education in an EHS-related field or equivalent experience.
- Professional Safety certification is preferred.
