Overview:
We are in search of seasoned mineral processing professionals with over a decade of experience to become part of our team, focusing on the initiation and scaling of a mineral processing operation. In this capacity, you will leverage your expertise and practical knowledge to ensure a safe and effective startup while providing guidance and support to less experienced operators.
Key Responsibilities:
· Execute processing operations tasks during the commissioning phase, assisting personnel in the startup and scaling of mineral processing machinery.
· Observe and assess plant equipment and systems to identify and rectify malfunctions, ensuring optimal operational conditions.
· Analyze process data and report any discrepancies to management to mitigate delays and equipment failures.
· Diagnose process challenges and collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to implement effective solutions.
· Review and revise standard operating procedures as necessary.
· Ensure that new team members receive comprehensive training and possess the necessary skills to perform their roles safely and effectively.
· Mentor operators in their daily tasks.
· Inspire team members and resolve issues to achieve operational goals.
· Foster a culture of safety and environmental stewardship within the workplace.
· Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and environmental protection laws.
Position Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in process operations within a mineral or chemical processing environment.
- Proven experience with mineral processing systems is essential.
- Experience in milling operations is considered advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Demonstrated work ethic with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
- Robust mechanical understanding.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
