Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mid-Senior Level Recruiter to join our dynamic People & Culture team at Export Packers Company Limited. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-cycle recruitment for consumer-packaged goods (CPG), retail industry or similar sectors. This role involves sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talents who can drive our company's growth and maintain our competitive edge in the market.

Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition Strategy: Develop and execute recruiting plans to meet the staffing needs of Export Packers. Work closely with hiring managers to identify, draft and clarify job specifications and requirements, and tailor the appropriate advertisements and campaigns to attract the right talent
  • Candidate Sourcing and Pipeline Building: Utilize various sourcing methods including social media, networking, and job boards to locate and attract potential candidates. Understanding business plans to ensure a strong pipeline is built for future needs. Managing, attending, and engaging with prospective candidates at job fairs.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Promote diversity in the workplace and ensure recruitment strategies attract a diverse candidate pool.
  • Screening and Selection: Conduct initial pre-screens, coordinate and conduct telephone, virtual and in-person interviews, and complete reference checks to assess applicants' qualifications and fit for the role.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate and integrate with business leaders across the company and build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to ensure recruitment strategies align with business needs.
  • Applicant Tracking System (ATS): Assist with developing and maintaining the ATS.
  • Recruitment Metrics: Build, track and analyze talent acquisition and talent retention data, key metrics and internal trends to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of hiring strategies and processes and implement improvements where necessary.
  • Employer Branding: Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to enhance the employer brand and ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process, maintaining communication and providing feedback to all applicants.
  • Onboarding Support: Assist in the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires into the company.
  • Administration: Create and maintain job descriptions and advertisements, including regular upkeep on internal documents (process, forms, etc.), the company career website, and external job boards.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends and labor market conditions that could impact the recruitment process. Present compensation research, analysis and recommendations where needed.
  • Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including staffing agencies, to support recruitment efforts during peak periods.
  • Compliance: Ensure all recruiting activities are compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of talent acquisition experience, proven in recruiting for both salary and hourly positions, in a manufacturing environment and otherwise, preferably within the food manufacturing industry, CPG retail industry or similar sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the unique challenges and demands of recruiting in a high-growth environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reporting skills: Possess the capability of working on analytical reports/dashboards leveraging the various ATS and in-built systems, including MS Office.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient with recruiting software, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and HR databases.
  • Industry Specific Knowledge: Understanding of the specific skills and qualifications unique to roles within the CPG retail sector.
