Overview:

Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a pivotal role in collaborating with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to effectively fulfill a diverse range of positions within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and execute the complete recruitment process for all positions within Sun Pharmaceutical, including sourcing, evaluating, interviewing, conducting background checks, and managing the hiring workflow.
  • Work closely with HR Business Partners and various departments to identify and assess talent requirements.
  • Utilize multiple sourcing channels to attract candidates, including online job platforms, employee referrals, social media, community outreach, and campus recruitment.
  • Guide managers on effective interviewing strategies and hiring practices.
  • Administer the Internship Program in partnership with HR Business Partners.
  • Initiate the offer process and provide recommendations based on market trends and internal benchmarks.
  • Maintain current recruitment metrics and analytics, managing the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) at the site level, including the preparation and analysis of relevant reports.
  • Stay informed on industry trends; contribute to the development of innovative strategies to differentiate Sun Pharmaceutical from competitors and enhance the company brand.
  • Ensure all recruitment communications, both internal and external, align with the Sun Pharmaceutical branding strategy.
  • Participate in special projects, such as employee recognition programs, incentive initiatives, referral programs, and retention strategies.
  • Optimize the employee referral process to ensure cost-effective recruitment practices.
  • Facilitate the review and feedback process for job descriptions and titles to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant human rights and employment standards legislation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal; capable of effectively engaging with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Adept at managing multiple priorities while ensuring timely and quality project completion.
  • Creative and resourceful in developing diverse and cost-effective recruitment strategies.
  • Proficient in modern technology, including PC applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and online recruitment tools.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills to act as an internal consultant on recruitment matters.
  • Knowledgeable in HR practices and employment legislation.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced Human Resources environment.

Experience:

  • A minimum of a University Degree or College Diploma in Human Resources or a related field.
  • At least five years of progressive experience in talent acquisition across various roles.
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily office-based work, with standard office equipment available.
  • Work conditions are generally favorable, with adequate lighting and temperature.
