Overview:
Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a crucial role in collaborating with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to effectively fulfill various staffing needs within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and execute the complete recruitment process for all positions within Sun Pharmaceutical, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, background verification, and facilitating the hiring process.
- Work closely with HR Business Partners and departmental leaders to identify and evaluate talent requirements.
- Utilize diverse sourcing methods to attract candidates, such as online job platforms, employee referrals, social media, community outreach, and campus recruitment.
- Guide managers on best practices for interviewing and making informed hiring decisions.
- Coordinate the Internship Program in partnership with HR Business Partners.
- Initiate the offer process and provide recommendations based on market trends and internal benchmarks.
- Maintain accurate recruitment reports and analytics, managing the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) at the site level, including preparation and analysis of relevant recruitment metrics.
- Stay informed on industry trends; contribute to the development of innovative strategies and initiatives to enhance Sun Pharmaceutical's competitive edge and promote its brand.
- Ensure that all recruitment communications, both internal and external, align with the branding strategy of Sun Pharmaceutical.
- Participate in special projects, including employee recognition programs, incentive initiatives, referral programs, and retention strategies.
- Enhance and streamline the employee referral process to ensure cost-effective recruitment practices.
- Facilitate the collection and review of job descriptions and titles to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Adhere to all applicable human rights and employment standards legislation.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

- Possess a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality.
- A collaborative team player with demonstrated professionalism and the ability to handle sensitive situations with integrity and tact.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels, coupled with strong influencing skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal; capable of effectively engaging with all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and sound judgment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and take initiative while ensuring timely and quality project completion.
- Demonstrated capability to develop innovative, diverse, and cost-effective recruitment strategies.
- Proficient in current technology, including PC applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and web-based recruitment tools, including social media platforms.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Strong problem-solving skills to act as an internal consultant on recruitment-related matters.
- Knowledgeable in HR practices and employment legislation.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced Human Resources environment.
Experience:
- A minimum of a University Degree or College Diploma in a relevant Human Resources or Business discipline.
- At least five years of progressive experience in talent acquisition across various roles and levels.
- Experience in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems.
Work Environment:
- Generally sedentary work, with occasional standing and walking required.
- Favorable working conditions with adequate lighting and temperature, free from hazardous or unpleasant conditions.
- Work primarily conducted in an office setting with standard office equipment available.
