About this Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our team at Canadian Blood Services. As a key member of our Talent Acquisition Team, you will provide administrative support and coordination to ensure the successful recruitment of top talent across Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and post job advertisements on internal and external platforms to attract top candidates.
  • Shortlist resumes, schedule prescreens and interviews, and complete background checks, including references and verifications.
  • Build relationships with candidates and stakeholders to ensure Canadian Blood Services is an employer of choice.
  • Provide excellent customer service by administering online assessments and ensuring a seamless recruitment process.
  • Assist the team in evaluating recruitment practices and policies to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline, such as Human Resources or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 3 years of administration experience, preferably in talent acquisition/recruitment.
  • Previous experience with recruitment tools and applicant tracking systems, including SuccessFactors.
  • Experience working in a virtual team environment.
  • Understanding of HR practices and legislative requirements, as well as union experience.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in using MS Office Suite.
