About this role:

We are currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our team at Canadian Blood Services. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will support the Talent Acquisition Team in coordinating and administering recruitment processes across Canada.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and post job advertisements on internal and external platforms.
  • Shortlist resumes, schedule prescreens and interviews, and complete background checks, including references and verifications.
  • Build relationships with candidates and ensure a positive employer brand.
  • Administer online assessments and provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist the team in the recruitment process, leveraging strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline, such as Human Resources or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 3 years of administration experience, preferably in talent acquisition/recruitment.
  • Experience with recruitment tools and applicant tracking systems, such as SuccessFactors.
  • Previous experience working in a virtual team environment.
  • Understanding of HR practices and processes, including legislative requirements and union experience.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in using MS Office Suite.
