Senior Manager, Programming Implementation, IRAP Program

At the National Research Council Canada, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Manager, Programming Implementation, IRAP Program.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of new programming, systems, and projects at IRAP, as well as optimizing existing ones. This will involve prioritizing work, defining goals, and managing projects to track and report on progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the identification, development, and delivery of new programming, systems, and projects at IRAP.
- Optimize existing programming, systems, or projects to improve performance and outcomes.
- Communicate project performance and outcomes effectively to the team and clients.
- Prepare expenditure and budget forecasts and manage assigned budgets according to NRC policies and procedures.
- Lead performance planning and review of personnel and make recommendations for training and development, promotions, and other human resource actions.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to lead stakeholder consultations and work on large, complex, multi-organization projects and programs.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree from a recognized postsecondary institution in a relevant discipline.
- Significant experience in supervising, managing, and developing staff.
- Significant experience in managing project and operational budgets.
- Experience in management principles and practices, such as project management, change management, communication management, financial analysis, issue/problem management, performance measurement, human resources, risk management, and/or project administration.
- Recent experience in providing strategic advice and recommendations to senior management.
- Experience in building and managing stakeholder relationships within and across organizations.
- Experience in delivering Grants and Contributions programs.
- Experience in change management.
- Experience developing client-focused content or programming.
Asset Criteria
- Experience in executing complex projects and programs.
- Experience in functioning successfully in a constantly evolving environment.
- Experience in preparing organizational training strategies and guidance materials.
- Experience in technical writing and/or content management.
- Experience working in the science or technology field.
Language Requirements
Bilingual Imperative (CBC/CBC)

Compensation
The intent of this hiring action is to staff this position at the RCO-4 or 5 level, which is an mid to late-career level position with a salary range of $137,226 to $175,466.
