About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Program Manager to join our Canada Public Sector team at Amazon Web Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving the strategy and vision for our Federal Public Sector team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic support and guidance to the Federal Public Sector Team Leader, helping to drive and reinforce the team's strategy and vision.
  • Manage the Team Leader's priorities, projects, and commitments, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
  • Act as a liaison between the Federal Public Sector team and other key stakeholders across AWS, escalating issues and coordinating decision-making as needed.
  • Lead special initiatives and cross-functional projects on behalf of the team, serving as a project manager and bringing together the right resources.
  • Develop presentations, reports, and other materials to communicate progress, surface challenges, and influence key decisions.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to provide the Team Leader with insights and recommendations.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous improvement within the team.
About the Team

Our team is dedicated to increasing awareness and adoption of Amazon Web Services in the Canada public sector market. We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Program Manager to join our team and help us achieve our goals.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience.
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
  • Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and juggle multiple priorities.
