Job Overview

We're seeking an exceptional Territory Sales Manager to drive growth and expansion in British Columbia. Reporting to the Director of Sales – Canada, this role will play a crucial part in building relationships, advocating for Open Farm, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales Optimization
  2. Sales Target Achievement - Meeting or exceeding sales targets for your assigned territory.
  3. Forecasting and Planning - Developing sales forecasts and strategies for the territory based on historical data, market trends, and customer insights.
  4. Budget Management - Responsible for managing budgets related to sales activities, including expenses for travel, sales promotions, and customer engagements.
  5. Customer Focus
  6. Develop existing and new client relationships within the territory, to serve as a strategic partner.
  7. Customer Relationship Management - Building and maintaining strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and other key stakeholders in the pet food supply chain.
  8. Product & Brand Training and Support - Providing training and support to distributors and retailers on product features, benefits, and selling techniques.
  9. Business Development/Operations
  10. New Business Development - Actively seek out new business opportunities by identifying potential customers and partnerships within the territory.
