Job OverviewWe're seeking an exceptional Territory Sales Manager to drive growth and expansion in British Columbia. Reporting to the Director of Sales – Canada, this role will play a crucial part in building relationships, advocating for Open Farm, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities- Sales Optimization
- Sales Target Achievement - Meeting or exceeding sales targets for your assigned territory.
- Forecasting and Planning - Developing sales forecasts and strategies for the territory based on historical data, market trends, and customer insights.
- Budget Management - Responsible for managing budgets related to sales activities, including expenses for travel, sales promotions, and customer engagements.
- Customer Focus
- Develop existing and new client relationships within the territory, to serve as a strategic partner.
- Customer Relationship Management - Building and maintaining strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and other key stakeholders in the pet food supply chain.
- Product & Brand Training and Support - Providing training and support to distributors and retailers on product features, benefits, and selling techniques.
- Business Development/Operations
- New Business Development - Actively seek out new business opportunities by identifying potential customers and partnerships within the territory.
