Industrial Territory Sales Representative

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Industrial Territory Sales Representative to join our team in British-Columbia. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting Merlo products in the industrial field and developing new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:
  • Research and establish new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and creating a client list (70%-80%);
  • Daily territory management by maintaining strong relationships with clients through visits to customer's job sites;
  • Plan and organize business strategies to achieve desired results and exceed goals by selling equipment;
  • Prepare and present business cases to demonstrate the benefits and potential savings (ROI) to key decision makers;
  • Identify customer needs and react appropriately while understanding market conditions and local competitor pricing.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in field sales or outside sales position;
  • Demonstrated ability to grow market shares;
  • Results-focused individual with solid communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills;
  • Strong planning and time management abilities;
  • Experience using a CRM;
  • A valid driver's license.

Benefits:
  • Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience;

Location:

This role is based in British-Columbia and requires frequent travel throughout the province.
