Territory Sales Development Executive

At Open Farm Inc, we're on a mission to revolutionize the way people feed their pets. As a Territory Sales Manager, you'll play a crucial role in driving growth and expanding our brand across British Columbia.
About the RoleWe're seeking an exceptional sales professional to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and executing territory sales strategies to achieve sales targets. This involves analyzing data to drive strategic plans, building relationships with customers, and providing training and support to distributors and retailers.
Main Responsibilities- Sales Optimization:
- •Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed sales targets for your assigned territory by developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
- •Forecasting and Planning: Develop sales forecasts and strategies for the territory based on historical data, market trends, and customer insights.
- •Budget Management: Manage budgets related to sales activities, including expenses for travel, sales promotions, and customer engagements.
- Customer Focus:
- •Develop existing and new client relationships within the territory to serve as a strategic partner.
- •Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and other key stakeholders in the pet food supply chain.
- •Product & Brand Training and Support: Provide training and support to distributors and retailers on product features, benefits, and selling techniques.
- Business Development/Operations:
- •New Business Development: Actively seek out new business opportunities by identifying potential customers and partnerships within the territory.
- •Promotions and Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns, product launches, and other marketing activities within the territory.
- •Market Analysis and Reporting: Monitor market & industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to provide insights and recommendations.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a related field.
- Ability to analyze data to drive strategic plans.
- Strong ability to relate and effectively build relationships with people.
- Excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Valid driver's license.
- Proficiency in basic Excel and PowerPoint; experience with sales reporting systems.
