Regional Project Management Specialist

The Government of the Northwest Territories' Department of Infrastructure plays a vital role in providing high-quality services to the public and other government departments, boards, and agencies.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing capital and operations projects with budgets up to $20 million. Occasionally, larger projects may be assigned, requiring unique management structures.
Your tasks will include:
- Project planning, scheduling, and contracting
- SUPERVISION OF PROFESSIONAL CONSULTANTS AND CONTRACTORS
- Inspections and quality control
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Engineering or Architecture, with 7 years of project management experience
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with Computer-Aided Design, Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Project Management Systems, and Financial Management Systems
This position requires working in a fast-paced environment, dealing with stakeholders, and maintaining confidentiality.
We are looking for an individual with exceptional time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills. The ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment is also essential.
We offer a competitive salary range between $80,000 and $120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
