Regional Program Development Specialist

The Inuvialuit Regional Corporation is a progressive organization committed to advancing the social, economic, and cultural well-being of the Inuvialuit people.
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Regional Program Development Specialist to join our team. This exciting opportunity will involve developing and implementing programs related to Inuvialuit knowledge-based research activities in the Inuvialuit Settlement Region (ISR).
The successful candidate will be responsible for securing funding, planning, and carrying out research studies on the marine environment, as well as documenting the multifaceted social, cultural, and economic relationship the Inuvialuit have with their waterways.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as library science, social science, liberal arts, or data science;
- At least 2 years of experience designing, administering, and leading community outreach or engagement activities;
- Experience working in Indigenous communities and organizations;
- Proficiency in utilizing communications and publication software;
- Proven ability to manage projects and produce status reports;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This position offers a competitive salary of $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
