Regional Sales Director, Canada

About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned sales leader to drive business growth in Canada. As Regional Sales Director, you will be responsible for accelerating our business and managing a remote sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new leads through market research, conference attendance, and cold calling.
- Lead the recruitment efforts to build the team alongside the Regional Talent Acquisition Manager.
- Meet monthly and annual sales targets set together with management.
- Identify opportunities in the market and monitor general developments of competition.
- Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
- Engage with Sales Admin in pre-sales, sales, and post-sales phases for support and resources.
- Ensure sales processes are organized in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Inspire, mentor, motivate, and ensure productivity of the sales force.
- Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years in commercial/client-facing roles in Financial Services/Banking industry.
- Knowledge and understanding of the securities market.
- A valid business contact network to build a sales pipeline in the first 90 days.
- Strong track record as a highly performing sales individual and managing a senior sales team.
- Generally motivated for sales and highly energetic with good time management skills.
