Job Summary
The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada) is seeking a highly skilled Regional Director to lead the implementation of our distribution strategy within TD Private Wealth Management. This is a senior leadership position that requires strong leadership and management skills to drive growth and performance within our wealth channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Vice Presidents, Relationship Managers, and Business Development Managers to drive growth and performance within TD Private Investment Counsel and Private Investment Advice Wealth channels.
- Develop and share industry-wide best practices around sales, marketing, portfolio construction, and business development.
- Collaborate with OneTD partners to maximize distribution effectiveness and provide a seamless client experience.
- Stay current on markets, regulations, and industry changes.
- Develop strong Centers of Influence within the industry.
- Provide input on the development of annual sales targets, performance criteria, reward and recognition programs, compensation programs, and key performance indicators.
- Act as the primary escalation point for significant sales matters and exceptions.
- Enhance the TDBG brand by participating in networking events.
- Refer to other business partners both within Wealth and across TD.
Requirements
- University degree.
- Preference given to industry accreditations (CFA, CIM, CFP, FCSI).
- 10+ years of industry sales experience.
- In-depth knowledge of both asset management and wealth management industries.
- Strong interest in capital markets, portfolio construction, and business development.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
