About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned sales leader to drive business growth in Canada. As Regional Sales Director, you will be responsible for accelerating our business and managing a remote sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new leads through market research, conference attendance, and cold calling.
  • Lead recruitment efforts to build the team alongside the Regional Talent Acquisition Manager.
  • Meet monthly and annual sales targets set together with management.
  • Identify opportunities in the market and monitor general developments of competition.
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
  • Engage with Sales Admin in pre-sales, sales, and post-sales phases for support and resources.
  • Ensure sales processes are organized in accordance with EXANTE's policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Inspire, mentor, motivate, and ensure productivity of the sales force.
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in commercial/client-facing roles in Financial Services/Banking industry.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the securities market.
  • A valid business contact network to build a sales pipeline in the first 90 days.
  • Strong track record as a highly performing sales individual and managing a senior sales team.
  • Generally motivated for sales and highly energetic with good time management skills.
