About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Billing Coordinator to join our Finance & Administration team in Canada. As a Billing Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Initiation: Collaborate with Project Managers to set up new projects and approve billing terms in accordance with our Credit and Collection policy.
  • Project Invoice Preparation: Process all project-related billings to clients in accordance with our revenue recognition policy and apply the appropriate sales tax.
  • Project Close Out: Change the status of projects to inactive or dormant upon completion of work, clear advance billings against WIP, and calculate project variances.
  • Financial Management: Prepare project budgets in the accounting system, post entries into the accounting software, and arrange delivery of invoices.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Monitor work in progress, review project-related documents, and report on project profitability to management.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of Deltek Vision is an asset.
  • Proficiency in the Office suite of products is required.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
