Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Professional to join our team at Blackman Support Services Ltd. This is a permanent position, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, equipment, and software applications.
  • Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions to technical issues.
  • Offer advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties, ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
  • Collaborate with other technical support analysts to maintain a problems and solutions log, sharing knowledge and best practices to improve service delivery.
  • Participate in the redesign of applications and other software, contributing to the development of innovative solutions that meet business needs.
  • Supervise other technical support workers, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet performance expectations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (not required)
  • 5 years or more experience in a technical support role, preferably in a similar industry
  • Strong knowledge of networking software, hardware, security software, database software, MS Office, SQL, SharePoint, MS Exchange, server hardware, enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, material requirements planning (MRP) system, cloud, and virtualization technologies
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to provide clear instructions and documentation
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and prioritize tasks efficiently
