">About the Role:
">Best Western Fernie Plus Mountain Lodge is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. As a Lead Culinary Director, you will be responsible for maintaining high-quality standards in food preparation and presentation while ensuring efficient kitchen operations.

- Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to optimize kitchen efficiency.">
- Instruct cooks on preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation techniques to ensure consistency and quality.">
- Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets and conferences.">
- Develop and implement menus that meet the highest quality standards while catering to diverse tastes and dietary requirements.">
- Supervise and mentor sous-chefs, specialist chefs, chefs, and cooks to enhance their skills and promote teamwork.">
Requirements:

- Cook Trade Certification or equivalent experience.">
- 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced hotel or resort kitchen environment.">
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.">
