Job Description:
As an Executive Chef Lead at the Best Western Fernie Plus Mountain Lodge, you will be responsible for leading a team of specialist chefs, chefs, and cooks in the preparation and presentation of food. You will supervise daily kitchen activities, instruct staff in cooking techniques, and prepare meals for special events and guests.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field;
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a chef or sous-chef in a hotel or resort setting;
- Cook Trade Certification;
- Excellent leadership and communication skills;
- Able to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
