Senior Culinary Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Culinary Team Lead to join our team at The Bridge Bistro. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing culinary team and overseeing the preparation and presentation of exceptional dishes.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure optimal efficiency and profitability.
- Supervise activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers to guarantee seamless execution and quality control.
- Create new recipes that showcase your creativity and attention to detail.
- Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets and special occasions.
- Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure timely delivery and minimize waste.
- Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards by selecting fresh and seasonal ingredients.
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances while maintaining exceptional customer service.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar position.
This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and working in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
Personal Suitability:You must possess excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, organization, reliability, and teamwork skills to thrive in this role.
Estimated Salary:The estimated salary for this position is between $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
