Restaurant Operations Director

Are you a seasoned hospitality professional with a passion for mountain culture? Resorts of the Canadian Rockies is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team at Fernie Alpine Resort.
As Restaurant Operations Director, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for our guests. This role requires a strong background in kitchen management, leadership, and customer service.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and are eager to join a dynamic team, we encourage you to apply.
Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
- Develop and implement effective kitchen operations to ensure efficient service delivery
- Collaborate with F&B Director to enhance menu offerings and drive revenue growth
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Hire, train, and develop staff to achieve individual and team goals
- Manage inventory, ordering, and budgeting to optimize resources
- Prepare weekly and seasonal reports to F&B Director as required
