Regional Sales Manager - Greater Toronto Area

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts across the Greater Toronto Area. This role is ideal for a sales leader with 3-7 years of experience in sales management, particularly those with a strong background in Interior Design, Construction, or related sectors.

The ideal candidate will possess a creative mindset and have the ability to effectively connect with designers, architects, and electrical engineering firms involved in Construction projects. As the Regional Sales Manager, you will lead a team of eight Account Executives, driving growth through strategic planning, relationship building, and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue goals and expand our market presence in the Greater Toronto Area.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of eight Account Executives, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Leverage creative interior design expertise to build strong relationships with designers, architects, and electrical engineering firms, positioning our company as a trusted partner in Construction projects.
  • Drive business development across the Greater Toronto Area, with additional opportunities to support growth in the Ottawa and Montreal/Quebec markets.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, contractors, developers, and industry professionals, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer service, and procurement, to align efforts and enhance business outcomes.
  • Deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and solutions that address the unique needs of clients and showcase the company's value.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics, providing insights to shape strategic decision-making.
  • Travel within the Greater Toronto Area and, as needed, to Ottawa and Montreal/Quebec to engage with clients, attend industry events, and conduct market research.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • 3-7 years of experience in sales management, ideally within Interior Design, Construction, or a related sector.
  • Proven track record of leading sales teams to achieve or exceed targets.
  • Creative mindset with a strong understanding of interior design principles and the ability to engage effectively with design, architecture, and engineering communities.
  • Bilingual in French and English, with the ability to build relationships in both languages.
  • Experience with sales in the Ottawa and Montreal/Quebec regions is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop actionable plans based on market insights.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite and Google Suite is an asset.
  • Willingness to travel within the Greater Toronto Area and occasionally to Ottawa and Montreal/Quebec.
