Business Development Representative

The RS Account Executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth through sales and service, with a focus on continually increasing profitable revenue in the record storage Product Line. Key responsibilities include:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct sales activities, including cold calling to generate new business and acquiring additional business with existing customers
- Develop and conduct sales presentations for potential new and existing customers
- Prospect daily to generate leads, including research and networking with applicable Lead Groups and other Business/Social Organizations
- Follow up on leads to convert them into accounts, and then work with those accounts to provide opportunities and close deals, eventually developing new clients with repetitive business
- Complete all necessary documents for new clients, including signed agreements, credit checks, and A-Sales submissions
- Collaborate with Operations, Product Line Manager, and/or Sales Manager for large and multi-location clients before presenting prices and scopes to clients
- Build and maintain successful relationships with internal departments by practicing active listening, maintaining a positive attitude, and engaging in open and honest communication
- Compile competitive information and work with the Product Line Manager and Sales Manager to develop competitive strategies and programs
- Perform headquarter calls on key accounts and engage in client relationship improvement activities on a consistent basis
- Provide regular reports on general activity in market areas, using the company's CRM system (Salesforce) and manual reporting when necessary
- Coordinate sales efforts with the Sales Manager for maximum sales return
