Job Description:
The Inside Sales Representative will play a critical role in driving sales and revenue growth by engaging with electrical contractors remotely. Key responsibilities include cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, promoting products and solutions, and identifying new business opportunities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with electrical contractors to drive sales and revenue growth.
- Understand customer needs and promote products and solutions to address those needs.
- Identify new business opportunities and engage appropriate resources to support customer growth.
- Manage and develop a sales territory with a large customer base, assessing market potential, developing and implementing sales strategies, forecasting market trends, and providing valuable insights.
- Convert and develop customers by identifying new business opportunities and engaging resources to support their growth.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of customer/segment forecasts, participating in product and supply chain buy/build planning.
- Assist with the management of the commercial contractor market segment, taking a customer ownership position within the commercial projects team.
- Nurture saturated customers in collaboration with field sales, identifying key contacts, hosting online meetings, and orchestrating onsite events to maximize reach.
- Animate the distributor network, collaborating with local branches to drive business opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing to launch campaigns positioning our solutions, leveraging digital tools, and building strong relationships with key individuals through cold calling.
- Lead generation and prospecting: inbound lead referrals and outbound 'cold calls' employing web-based tools.
- Coordinate account support cross-functionally with outside sales, product experts, operations teams, etc.
- Have the ability to quote small project jobs.
