**About this Opportunity:**

We are seeking a talented and dynamic Housekeeping Assistant Manager who shares our passion for luxury hospitality and is dedicated to delivering exceptional results. As a member of our Housekeeping team, you will play a key role in ensuring that our guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.

**Key Responsibilities:**

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping Department, including establishing and controlling cleaning schedules, working closely with the Front Office to ensure timely room readiness, and supervising a team of Housekeeping staff. You will also assist with training and development programs to ensure that our team members have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional service.

**Requirements:**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2-3 years of progressive managerial or supervisory experience in a luxury hotel setting
  • Experience managing within a unionized work environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office applications
  • Previous experience with OPERA PMS and HotSOS an asset
