Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at Tiny Hands Daycare Learning. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
Key Responsibilities
- Determine and establish office procedures and routines to maintain a productive work environment.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and events.
- Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and respond to electronic enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Compile data, statistics, and other information to support decision-making and reporting.
- Order office supplies, maintain inventory, and ensure that all necessary materials are available.
- Greet visitors, direct them to contacts or service areas, and provide general information about our organization.
- Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems to ensure accurate and efficient record-keeping.
- Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents to ensure accuracy and professionalism.
- Utilize MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Office to perform administrative tasks and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
- Permanent employment with a 35-hour workweek.
- Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
