Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Partnerships Director to join our Partnerships & Licensing team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for fostering and growing relationships with partners around the world, helping to power our Professional Information Business.

Your primary focus will be on managing business development activities in our B2B business, primarily through partnerships, but also our products and content delivery tools. This includes developing and negotiating contracts to help power the products and solutions of our partners, as well as exploring and executing plans for growing our business ventures.

You will work closely with senior-level leaders in partner organizations to stay top of mind throughout the organization as a valued partner, and our content and data will be maximized within the bounds of the agreements in place.

  • Build strong relationships with senior-level leaders in partner organizations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with partner sales organizations and staff members.
  • Conduct or arrange training, sales material, support material, and develop a feedback loop to ensure Dow Jones information is at the forefront of partner sales teams.
  • Conduct or arrange marketing activities that promote our partnership and drive end-customer awareness of our content being a valued part of partner platforms and services.

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for someone with 10 years of proven experience in business negotiations and internal/external relationship management. You should have a deep understanding of internet and intranet applications, emerging and web technologies, and industry standards. Commercial awareness of the implications of potential contractual obligations is essential.

A proven track record in a relationship management role supporting strategic solutions to major companies is required, as well as experience in business development with a track record of winning. Good planning skills and attention to detail are necessary to successfully plan and complete annual renewals and develop longer-term retention strategies.

We offer a comprehensive compensation package, including an estimated salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on location and experience, plus benefits such as comprehensive healthcare plans, paid time off, retirement plans, and education benefits.
