Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled MMS Documentation Clerk to join our team for a full-time 6-month contract opportunity with the possibility of becoming a permanent position.

About the Role

This role is ideal for an individual with excellent communication skills and attention to detail. As a MMS Documentation Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients in the legal, real estate, and banking industries.

Responsibilities
  • Providing support to clients by handling high-volume inbound calls/requests for service in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Creating Solicitor profiles and verifying that clients are in good standing with Law Society regulations.
  • Corresponding with banks and lawyers regarding pending documents for files.
  • Supporting all clients (banks and lawyers) with escalation and general inquiries.
  • Completing post-closing follow-ups within internal guidelines and elevating any backlogs by the end of the day.
  • Updating MOTION with appropriate file notes for all deals where follow-up was performed.
  • Continuously monitoring the follow-up mailbox and processing confirmations and post-follow-up documentation.
  • Assisting with incoming mail and final documentation when required.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bilingual (French)
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Experience working in a call center
  • Experience working in a law firm or bank (asset)
  • Knowledge of the real estate industry
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Team player with a strong attention to detail
