Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to lead business development efforts for large group sales in our Central Canada Sales Office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling incoming leads, up-selling opportunities, and driving customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Generation: Respond promptly to incoming leads for groups (0-50 room nights) and catering opportunities within the parameters of our Group Sales team.
  • Sales Execution: Understand market trends, competitors' strengths and weaknesses, and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue for individual properties.
  • Customer Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with existing and new customers to drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Process Improvement: Implement process improvements and best practices to optimize sales performance and efficiency.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED; 4 years of experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related fields.
  • Experience: Proven track record in sales and marketing, with a focus on large group business experience, team-based selling, and hospitality management.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, and proficiency in using technology to manage sales activities.
Salary Range: $57,000 - $81,000 annually.
