The Business Manager position is an exciting opportunity to drive sales and profit growth within the Grocery & Drug channel business at Acosta Sales & Marketing.

As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional departments to achieve company objectives. Your primary focus will be on delivering annual sales & profit targets while effectively managing trade relationships.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Annual Net Sales & Profit targets
  • Accurately forecast sales volume & trade dollars
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate trade and shopper marketing initiatives based on insights
  • Maximize trade investments and efficiencies aligned with business objectives
  • Analyze business and category data to develop and present category management solutions
  • Strategize customer business initiatives and develop joint business plans with customers
  • Experience working with Loblaw Companies and Shopper's Drugmart is an asset
  • Understanding of natural channel go-to-market strategies is an asset
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of customer-specific software and understanding of A.N. is an asset
  • Excellent collaboration and project management skills
  • Solid presentation skills and ability to persuade/sell to all levels of the customer organization
  • Strong financial acumen and great communication/sales skills
  • A results-oriented, proven achiever with a strong resolve to deliver results
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required (quarterly)
