We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Marriott International in Central Canada. This role will involve managing sales activities, building successful relationships with customers, and driving customer loyalty through excellent service.

Job Description:
  • Manage incoming large group/catering opportunities within the parameters of the Group Sales team.
  • Refer opportunities to appropriate sales associates if business is outside the Group Sales parameters.
  • Understand market trends and competitor strengths and weaknesses to effectively sell against them.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or GED, or a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, or related major.
  • 4 years of experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area.
  • PREFERRED: Experience selling large group business, knowledge of group sales process, team-based selling, and hospitality management degree.
Benefits:
