About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team in Central Ontario. This role will be responsible for maximizing business potential represented by our existing and potential customers.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for navigating the Central Ontario territories efficiently, minimizing travel costs, and professionally representing the company to new and potential customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Navigate the Central Ontario territories to assess and leverage customer potential
  • Generate business opportunities and follow up on leads
  • Maintain constant communication with customers and build relationships
  • Visit existing important customers regularly to personalize the relationship
  • Follow up on all existing and potential customers to maintain the customer relationship
  • Build customer loyalty by generating maximum value from each opportunity
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or member of the PEO preferably or DCS in mechanical engineering minimum
  • Four years of experience in a technical customer position
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite software
  • Negotiation skills and ability to close a sale
  • Analytical mind, autonomy, sense of responsibility, and good time management
