The Senior Account Executive position at Gartner is a field-based, direct sales role focused on client retention and growth. You will work closely with C-level executives to develop an enterprise-wide strategy that maximizes the value delivered by Gartner's products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account management with increased customer satisfaction and account growth
  • Quota responsibility of $800,000+ in contract value within a major client territory
  • Mastery and consistent execution of Gartner's sales methodology
  • Account planning and territory management
  • Forecast accuracy maintenance on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis

  • In-depth understanding of Gartner's products and services

Requirements

To be successful as a Senior Account Executive at Gartner, you should have:

  • 8-15 years of consultative sales experience in high technology environments (services, software, or consulting) with a proven track record of success
  • Strong intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen
  • Proven experience building excellent client relationships at C-level within large enterprises
  • Strong computer proficiency and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with the full life cycle of the sales process
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and French
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree - desired
