About the Role
The Senior Account Executive position at Gartner is a field-based, direct sales role focused on client retention and growth. You will work closely with C-level executives to develop an enterprise-wide strategy that maximizes the value delivered by Gartner's products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account management with increased customer satisfaction and account growth
- Quota responsibility of $800,000+ in contract value within a major client territory
- Mastery and consistent execution of Gartner's sales methodology
- Account planning and territory management
- Forecast accuracy maintenance on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis
- Competitive knowledge and focus
- In-depth understanding of Gartner's products and services
Requirements
To be successful as a Senior Account Executive at Gartner, you should have:
- 8-15 years of consultative sales experience in high technology environments (services, software, or consulting) with a proven track record of success
- Strong intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen
- Proven experience building excellent client relationships at C-level within large enterprises
- Strong computer proficiency and presentation skills
- Familiarity with the full life cycle of the sales process
- Fluency in written and spoken English and French
- Bachelor's or Master's degree - desired
