Job Overview

The Sales Director - Market Expansion Specialist will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and leading a dynamic sales team. This individual must possess a strategic mindset, excellent leadership skills, and a results-driven approach to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop, implement, and adjust sales strategies to achieve business goals and drive market expansion.
  • Team Leadership: Hire, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and customer-centricity.
  • Client Relationships: Cultivate relationships with key dealers and partners to increase product adoption and loyalty. Proactively manage and nurture new business accounts to achieve profit and volume goals while addressing customer concerns in a professional, timely manner.
  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Drive new business by identifying and prospecting potential leads, including cold calling and other outreach efforts.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor sales metrics, prepare business reporting and forecasting, and use insights to refine strategies and improve results.
  • Collaboration: Partner with the Marketing department to ensure account activities and materials are current. Contribute to Marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and market share.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay current on market trends, the competitive landscape, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and product positioning.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of field or regional sales experience with a proven track record in leading successful sales teams.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Background in powersport, automotive, or recreational vehicle industry is an asset.
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales analytics tools.
  • Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
  • Valid driver's license and passport.

Competitive Salary Package
